Fun With Lighting On Halloween

Another Halloween has come and gone, but I thought I would share some images from the Keegan house this year. Halloween can be a time for photographers to utilize their lighting skills to create some creepy effects for trick or treaters. It was also an opportunity to play with my new Lumix GX7 camera I blogged about earlier. I had been looking for a new, light, inconspicuous, Micro FourThirds format camera for doing documentary street and wedding photography when I saw legendary Magnum and National Geographic photographer David Alan Harvey recommend this little beauty—a Panasonic Lumix GX7.Panasonic is not the first company I think of when I think of professional still photography equipment, but this little digital camera with a rangefinder-like feel seems like the real deal.
