The United States Marine Corps holds a special place in my heart as does their Toys For Tots charity. Nothing celebrates the spirit of the season than a Toys For Tots Drive. Maybe it affects me so much because when I was kid, my parents used to play the song "The Little Boy That Santa Claus Forgot" for me. Quite possibly the saddest Chirstmas song ever created. I still get choked up when I hear it and my family makes fun of me for it.

In any event, I believe strongly in charitable works and especailly around the holidays. The thought of a kid with nothing to open on Christmas just tears me up—even more so now that I have two kids of my own. Christmas was always a big deal in my family, and the idea of making a Christmas more enjoyable for a child is for me, what it's all about.

From now until December 20, I will donate $25 in toys for every portrait session I book and $50 for every wedding.
