Accepting the Black & White Challenge: Day 3
For today's image, I decided to show a picture that I have never shown publicly before that I shot for myself about 10 years ago. This is an elephant at the Santa Barbara Zoo, which was one of my favorite places to take my daughter Bridget when she was a baby.
This was shot on T-Max 3200 film and pulled to 800 ISO using a special developing technique I learned in college to give it that hard grain, ultra-contrasty look.

For Day 3, I nominate Brian Prince. Brian was one of the first friends I ever made in photography as we shot together for our college newspaper. I look forward to seeing what good stuff he's going to dig up!
